Infant and Toddler Programs
Babies to 2 1/2 years old
Our Infant and Toddler programs are as close to home as you can get. We offer our wee ones lots of love and respect. Hugs and cuddles are given all day, every day. The children's interests are followed daily in our programming. Children play and explore both inside and out. Our consistent daily routine and loving environment allows the children to settle in quickly and become a part of our "family".
Junior Preschool class
2.5 years old and up
In our Junior Preschool room we play and discover many things!
We love to sing songs and we have many learning experiences with our loving and caring R.E.C.E's.
We encourage children to express themselves in their own way and explore the classroom and our materials in their own time.
Senior Preschool class
up to 4 years old in January
The Senior Preschool room is a loving place to learn and play.
Children can make a variety of arts and crafts with lots of free choice of materials. Children can explore fine motor activities such as felt boards, puzzles, lacing, cutting, stenciling, collage, loose parts etc. We have elements such as play dough, water, sand and shaving cream. Children have access to our painting easel, books, doctors set, kitchen, tools, plants, dolls house and so much more. We offer children the opportunity to explore the world of magnets, sea shells, textures, sink and float activities etc.
Our R.E.C.E.'s will share the lives and works of famous artists in fun, creative ways.
They will also help to develop core skills such as shapes, colours, letter and number recognition, letter formation, pincer grasp, seriation etc. all when they are ready.
*Before and After School Care 8:00a.m.- 9:00a.m. and 3:30p.m.-5:30p.m.
Before school care starting at 8:00 a.m. is a free play time full of exploration.
Those children who are enrolled in Cootes Paradise School will be taken over by our staff at 8:45 a.m. for their classes.
After school care: Our staff will go over to Cootes Paradise School and pick up registered children. Our centre is open until 5:30 p.m.
Families are able to sign up for what they need and pay accordingly.
